Executive Director — Neal Appelbaum
Neal Appelbaum is responsible for the day to day operations of the Arts Center. He has been associated with the Arts Center since 2008, spending the last 5 years as a volunteer and serving on the board of directors for 1.5 years. Neal also serves as Chairman of the Industrial Development Board of Cannon County and is a Board member of the Cannon County Chamber of Commerce and Stones River Watershed Association
Assistant Director — Mary Wilson
Mary Wilson came to the Arts Center in 1995 as Executive Assistant after spending over 15 years as a volunteer and member of the Board of Directors. Mary handles the day to day fiscal management of the Arts Center including bookkeeping, membership services, ticketing and working with the volunteer coordinator. For the past eight years Mary has coordinated all the activities concerning vendors and craft artists for the White Oak Craft Fair.
Public Relations & Development Director - Carol Reed
Carol Reed came to the Arts Center in 2000 as Public Relations and Development Director. Her responsibilities include media and public relations, development and marketing, designing and coordinating all direct mailings and paid advertising and acting as liaison to state and regional tourism groups, and coordinating all volunteer activities. Her involvement with the Arts Center goes back over 15 years as a volunteer and former Board of Directors member.
Creative Media Director - Brittany Goodwin
Brittany Goodwin came to The Arts Center in 2014 after spending over eight years in the professional theatre and film industry. Her responsibilities include producing, editing, and promoting various photo and video content for The Arts Center, handling all social media marketing, scheduling concerts and events, directing and producing, and coordinating special stage and film projects. With a strong background as an instructor and performer, Brittany also offers private vocal, piano and acting lessons, audition preparation and coaching
Arts Education Director — Lindsay Mapes
Lindsey Mapes is responsible for planning and managing the School Matinee Program including the educational materials that go along with each show as well as planning and managing the Summer Youth Conservatory. In addition to directing at least one show per year, Lindsey also works directly with the technical directors to maintain the costume shop. She is a graduate from MTSU with a degree in Theatre and a minor in music. She has worked professionally at both The Cumberland County Playhouse, and Nashville Repertory Theatre.
Information Technology - Beth McCrary
Beth has been involved at The Arts Center since 1999, but began officially working here in March of 2013. She has been involved in many productions over the years, producing, stage managing, and making props. She is also responsible for organizing the home school groups for school shows. Her responsibilities at The Arts Center include writing and maintaining code for the various systems, maintaining the website, technical support for the staff, and anything else computer related.
